Seinfeld Night at Citi Field: Jerry Throws Out First Pitch

Mets fan Jerry Seinfeld threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday night at Citi Field.  It was Seinfeld Night at the ballpark as they celebrated 30 years since the popular comedy debuted.

The 65-year-old comedian didn’t just lob the pitch to the plate.  He fired a strike to the catcher.

That’s an impressive first pitch for a man of Seinfeld’s age. There aren’t many 65-year-old’s who didn’t play the game professionally that can get it over the plate with that kind of velocity.
