The Yankees announced that they have re-signed manager Aaron Boone to a three-year contract with a club option for a fourth.
Expectations are always sky-high in the Bronx, and four straight years without a World Series appearance under Boone had prompted a vocal portion of the fanbase to call for a change in the dugout. But Boone has many supporters, including a unique set of fans: the exotic dancers from Rick’s Cabaret, considered New York’s top gentlemen’s club.
“We follow all sports and root for the NY teams,” said Rick’s girl Juliana. “Aaron Boone is a good manager and we congratulate him on his new deal.”
Boone is 328-318 in his four seasons as manager of the Yankees. Many fans were hoping the team would let him walk, but the 48-year-old is being given an opportunity to turn things around.
Rick’s girl Olivia said, “There are so many Yankee fans that I have danced for here at the club, and they haven’t blamed the manager for this season. They all look forward to next year. I think Gio Urshela will do big things. He’s my favorite player.”
The three story Rick’s Cabaret is well known for its beautiful entertainers, luxurious setting, and warm hospitality. The Rick’s Steakhouse on the club’s second floor features fine dining and is open late.
